July Food Shoots Roundup

At the start of the lockdown I set about increasing my stock of fresh, simple food ingredients images on Alamy as a way to continue shooting stock imagery from the relative comfort of my own kitchen and set myself a target of 1000 food images on Alamy (I had just over 300 at the time). I’m pleased to say that I reached the target this month!

Whilst I’ve tried a few different styles I prefer the plain high-key flat lay approach the best, so I’ve mainly done that this month – with a few varities of fresh fruit and veg that I’ve not photographed before as my props.

The “props” this month have included two varieties of melon which were a delicious treat after the shoot!

As I’ve preferred shooting high-key food images, what could be more appropriate to reach my shoot target than images of a white egg on a white background?!

You can find all of my food images in my dedicated food gallery on Alamy.
