I’m very much looking forward to retiring at the end of this week! However, I’m also looking forward to turning my business back into a hobby and getting out to shoot some new images…
Having just closed down my website shop and disposed of all of my remaining jigsaws, calendars and cards the immediate future holds nothing more exciting than a bit of decorating in a rather empty looking office (which doubled up as a stock room). However, I’m also looking forward to getting out on some landscape photography shoots in due course.
With that in mind, I thought I should have a new website to replace the expensive eCommerce site so I can post a few new images now and then. The eagle-eyed amongst you, though, will have noticed that this isn’t a new website but rather my old WordPress blog site which I ran alongside various former website incarnations. So there is content on here dating back ten years or more, should you want to delve into the archives (though I can’t guarantee many of the old links will work!). I’ve added a few static pages including a gallery with a few old favourite images for the time being – including this one of Skipton Castle Woods which I may well visit again this spring…
Many thanks if you’ve bought one of my images, calendars, jigsaws or cards over the years, or been on a workshop with myself and Sam Oakes. If you’ll miss the calendars then I’m pleased to say that most of my designs have been taken on by other photographers and you’ll find details on the calendars page on this site, so look out for the 2024 editions later in the year!
Best wishes
Mark
