It’s the end of an era! After twelve years and approaching 100 workshops, Sam and I ran our final workshop last weekend.
It turned out to be a great send-off, despite the best efforts of weather forecasters! We had a day of lovely, diffused light for photographing autumn colours and moving water at Bolton Abbey. The colours in Strid Wood were just magnificent.
The featured image at the top is a quick example shot that I took hand-held as we arrived at the viewpoint along the path in Strid Wood up above High Strid. Not bad for a 1/13s hand-held exposure! (I would, of course, have advised you to use a tripod on the workshop…).
‘d like to thank everyone who has been on one of our workshops over the years. They’ve been a pleasure to run, and we’ve seen many budding photographers produce some great images. I hope you all continue to enjoy your landscape photography for many years to come. That’s certainly what I intend to do with my extra free time 🙂
Good luck with your photography!
Mark
