As I rely on public transport for most of my photo shoots I’ve obviously had to rip up my shoot plan for the immediate future, so in lieu of a full shoot last week, here are a few spring images captured on my exercise walks to Conyngham Hall and back last week and a sunset at the castle from a different day.

I avoided the Market Place and High Street and went through Bebra Gardens to the castle and then along Waterside where it was all pretty quiet. The daffodils looked lovely!

At Conyngham Hall the euphorbia in the sunken garden looked pretty good too…

The next day, the King’s Tower at the castle looked rather splendid bathed in sunset light. As sunset is getting a bit later it was nice and quiet and I found it’s easy to avoid people by diverting my course down a different path if you see someone coming towards you in the distance, so this will probably be my exercise yard this week!

Now I just need to write a new shoot plan for the coming weeks. I don’t think the location will be terribly exciting – probably my kitchen! So this could be the last Last Week’s Shoot post for a while…
