The 2013 feva (Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts) opens today here in Knaresborough, including my Poetry in Sandstone exhibition of landscape photography at The Mitre.

My exhibition (one of many on this years feva Arts Trail) explores beautiful sandstone formations, mainly from the Arizona and Utah wilderness in the western USA but includes images closer to home in the form of the towering sandstone cliffs of the Jurassic Coast near Burton Bradstock in Dorset and the gritstone of Yorkshire’s own Cow and Calf Rocks on Ilkley Moor, viewed at sunrise (above).

Now showing at The Mitre Inn at 4 Station Rd, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, HG5 9AA, so why not pop in for a drink on your way around the Arts Trail!
For feva this year there is also a Green Dragon in Green Dragon Yard outside Art in The Mill, one of the main Arts Trail venues (which also stocks a few of my greetings cards!). The dragon is collecting for the scouts, so please give generously, or it might breathe fire at you (but probably not).

I hope you enjoy this year’s festival!
