About our postcards
All of our postcards are an A6 (148x105mm) horizontal design printed exclusively for Mark Sunderland Photography by The Calendar Company. The cards are beautifully printed on 300gsm TRUcard stock. The image shows the card front with the reverse inset. The postcard front has a single or multiple images with a title of the major location. The reverse of the card has a classic postcard layout with an image caption across the top and address lines on the right hand side. There is also a barcode for the postcard range. The postcards are within Royal Mail’s standard letter size for posting.
About the location
Ripon Museums are a set of three Yorkshire law and order museums in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The Ripon Museums Multiview postcard features four views of the three museums. Ripon Workhouse Museum Gatehouse (top left) building dates from 1854, though a workhouse had stood on Allhallowgate in Ripon since 1776. Ripon Courthouse Museum (top right) is an elegant Georgian courthouse containing a courtroom as it was in the 1800s. Ripon Prison and Police Museum (bottom left) is housed in the former Ripon Liberty Prison, which later became Ripon Police Station. Ripon Workhouse Museum Main Block (bottom right) is set back behind the gatehouse and contains exhibits including the Master’s study and the inmates dining hall.
