About our postcards
All of our postcards are an A6 (148x105mm) horizontal design printed exclusively for Mark Sunderland Photography by The Calendar Company. The cards are beautifully printed on 300gsm TRUcard stock. The image shows the card front with the reverse inset. The postcard front has a single or multiple images with a title of the major location. The reverse of the card has a classic postcard layout with an image caption across the top and address lines on the right hand side. There is also a barcode for the postcard range. The postcards are within Royal Mail’s standard letter size for posting.
About the location
Ripon is a historic cathedral city in North Yorkshire, England. The Ripon Multiview postcard features four landmarks from around the city. Kirkgate (top left) is a pretty shopping street packed with independent shops and cafes leading up to the cathedral. The façade of Ripon Town Hall (top right), a grade II* listed building dating from 1799 bears the inscription “EXCEPT YE LORD KEEP YE CITTIE YE WAKEMAN WAKETH IN VAIN”. The obelisk (bottom left) dating from 1805 and the Victorian gothic revival church of St Mary’s are at nearby Studley Royal. Ripon Cathedral (bottom right), or the Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Wilfrid is a magnificent grade I listed building in Early English Gothic style.
