About our postcards

All of our postcards are an A6 (148x105mm) horizontal design printed exclusively for Mark Sunderland Photography by The Calendar Company.  The cards are beautifully printed on 300gsm TRUcard stock.  The image shows the card front with the reverse inset.  The postcard front has a single or multiple images with a title of the major location. The reverse of the card has a classic postcard layout with an image caption across the top and address lines on the right hand side.  There is also a barcode for the postcard range.  The postcards are within Royal Mail’s standard letter size for posting.

About the location

Our Ripon Cathedral Front postcard depicts the historic Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Wilfrid, more commonly known simply as Ripon Cathedral.  The building today is the fourth church to have stood on the site.  The earliest stone church on the site was founded in 672 by St Wilfrid, who was buried near the high altar in this early church. The west front of the current building is noted for its Early English Gothic style, and it is a Grade I listed building.
