About the location
The Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) consists of 233 square miles of beautiful Yorkshire countryside. It borders on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, within easy reach of Harrogate and Ripon. Lush green meadows topped by purple heather moorland make this a fantastic location for a long walk. The Nidderdale Heather postcard depicts heather blowing in the wind on moorland near Guise Cliff above Pateley Bridge.
