About the location
The famous view of the railway viaduct across the River Nidd at Knaresborough is a Yorkshire landmark loved by locals and visitors alike. In the Knaresborough Viaduct in Winter jigsaw it is seen from the viewpoint in the Castle grounds. The bridge was completed in 1851 as part of the Leeds and Thirsk Railway. It is still in use today on the Harrogate Line between York and Leeds.
