About our postcards
All of our postcards are an A6 (148x105mm) horizontal design printed exclusively for Mark Sunderland Photography by The Calendar Company. The cards are beautifully printed on 300gsm TRUcard stock. The image shows the card front with the reverse inset. The postcard front has a single or multiple images with a title of the major location. The reverse of the card has a classic postcard layout with an image caption across the top and address lines on the right hand side. There is also a barcode for the postcard range. The postcards are within Royal Mail’s standard letter size for posting.
About the location
The famous view of the railway viaduct across the River Nidd at Knaresborough is a Yorkshire landmark loved by locals and visitors alike. In the Knaresborough Viaduct at Sunset postcard it is seen from the viewpoint in the Castle grounds. The bridge was completed in 1851 as part of the Leeds and Thirsk Railway. It is still in use today on the Harrogate Line between York and Leeds.
