About the location
Our Harrogate Prospect Gardens postcard features a sunny view of the gardens between Prospect Place and West Park Street in the centre of Harrogate. Beyond the gardens is the striking Harrogate War Memorial which is a grade II* listed building. This obelisk type memorial commemorating the First and Second World Wars was unveiled in 1923. The nearby Church of St Peter is also a listed building which was built in gothic style in the 1870s.
